MOLGENIS on Github

Rumor: #MOLGENIS might go to #Github well at least a current new #release #*UNTESTED* is #available on Github for first testing so download your #copy of the Software Generator and either start by Forking the Distro (for beginners) of the whole set of Apps today.
After a Saturday of learning the obscure ways of git svn and the rebase failure -the whole concept-... why why it git rebase destructive and git svn rebase o so common- ow did I just rebase everything away to git or the svn *sigh*
Well the main bulk SVN to GIT transfer is complete the Software Generator and distro for beginners and advanced applications *most used by developers* is ported to Github. Its more a test to see if its possible for a kind of largish code-base with semi rusted SVN developers to move. I haven't even touch the very very grown apart branches of of the more obscure projects.Which some also need to be reintroduced, if we want make the switch to Github a complete success.
For now the GIT Mirror is up.
Next step get at least a couple of developers to try it and also have the MOLGENIS developers spawn their own forks, and start using signed off commits bundle system to the main branches in molgenis_apps.
The current system is not too good there is a lot of code, and ant xml to do away with the parts you don't need (?!). But it is there because the code is so large, so some conflict always exist.
There is a now a one time big download for the apps which could be totally replaced by branches, and have nice clean 10mb downloads including all supporting JAR files..
Well enjoy the software reader and Thanks to Morris for letting me put it online :)
